My ‘cosmic-country’ americana band, Forest Bed played Leo & Friends in Sydenham SE London last weekend.
It was a great night, it was a real honour to play a show with so many amazing creative people. As usual with London shows these days: An hour of 1 or 2 poems from 5-6 poets, curry break, then we played, SRF closed the night and blew us all away.
SRF’s previous show earlier in October had been at KOKO cafe, so it was really cool to share the stage with such talented young musicians still making time and space to play community shows in endz.
We’ll be back at Leo’s in Feb 2024. So if you’re in South and want to come see us live – a date for your diary!
We played a short-ish 40mins set. Two songs that aren’t on our Placeholders EP are embedded below. Our traditional set closer (and crowd favourite) Goodbye + a new song Tangled String.
